A Guide to Disciplinary Hearings and Appeals
Who is it for?
This session is aimed at Governors/Trustees, members of SLT, line managers, and HR team members that may be involved in a formal disciplinary hearing or appeal.
Intended Outcomes

After the session participants will have an understanding of:
- When and why a disciplinary hearing may need to be arranged;
- How to prepare for a formal disciplinary hearing;
- How to run a formal disciplinary hearing;
- The potential outcomes and pitfalls of disciplinary hearings (and how to avoid these); and
- How to arrange, prepare and run a disciplinary appeal.
Cost

The cost of this session starts at £995 plus VAT for up to 20 participants for clients of the Employment Law & HR Service. Each additional participant will be charged at £55 plus VAT per head. Where the session is to be delivered on site, in person, reasonable travel expenses will be charged in addition to the session cost.

CPD
This course equates to 2.5 hours of CPD and following attendance on the course, participants will be sent electronic copies of their CPD certificate, copies of the slides and activities discussed during the session.
